Our Aim
Is to develop and deliver an ambitious, climate action education programme for schools across the UK that raises awareness of the UN Sustainable Development Goals, ‘The Climate Curriculum‘. The objective is to create and develop a vast cohort of empowered, climate-aware young children who research and implement positive climate change actions and programmes as they move through their schooling and beyond into adulthood.
Climate Curriculum
This can be seen as a bolt on – a series of lessons or assemblies – but to become a reality, more than ever it needs to sit at the heart of every school and community ethos. We need to inspire our children not to just make a difference tomorrow or in years to come but empower them to make changes today.

Children need to learn that the science behind achieving Carbon Zero is extremely complex and will require the development of critical STEM skills as well as their ability to be creative, collaborative and communicate effectively.
We have launched a pilot project with 5 primary and secondary schools in London to gather energy consumption data and engage their pupils with projects about how they can reduce excess usage and plan how to move their schools towards becoming Carbon Neutral.
We will use the results and impact achieved at these pilot schools to expand the process to as many schools as possible across the UK and internationally.

How we work with and help schools
- Connecting schools and our environmental, educational and corporate partners
- Develop a range of projects, activities and competitions that will inspire pupils
- Develop a deep understanding of both the consequences and opportunities to address climate change
- Mentor and support the pupils as they develop and implement project ideas
- Increase pupils knowledge and understanding of the issues and opportunities relating to climate change
Our Partners
We will achieve this by facilitating connections between schools and our environmental, educational and corporate partners to develop a range of projects, activities and competitions that will inspire pupils at all participating schools with the scale of the issue over pupils’ 10+ year education journey.
